Save the girl child, please!!!

She is sweating heavily, she is alone, the sky is dark, with her wildest fears creeping in, she held the child close to her looking at the child one last time.

She took a deep breath, and for one last time she thought, "Is this the right thing to do?"

"Yes, it is, I didn't ask this child to come into my life. Society is laughing, my conscience says this child is a burden to me and I have to get rid of it. When something is given without asking, it can be got ridden without anyone's permission" she supported herself.

"Everything is set", she thought. She looked into the child's eyes, the eyes asking her,"What did I do to deserve this?" She closed her eyes and let the child go.

"She threw the child into the river."

Its day now. She got a doubt, a dreadful thought, she went running back to the river. She saw the child, a dead body. She realized now that she was mistaken. She cried, cried like she wants the entire world to hear.

I was there; witnessing everything. I am helpless,I wanted to ease her pain, at the same time I wanted to snap her for her foolishness.But I am helpless, am unable to move an inch, sweating heavily, I opened my eyes.

Its a dream. But the dream has my cousin sister in it.

With curiosity, I called my mom and asked, "How is sis doing?"

"She is good but I heard she is thinking about abortion.", she replied.

"What the heck??" is my immediate thought. Mom explained me the reason. Sister has girl child already, in this carrying she wants a boy. She went to her family doctor to have gender test. The doctor did some test but reluctant to tell whether its a boy or girl. This made my sis to believe that's its going to be a girl again. So she don't want it, that too after 4-5 months into carrying!!

I was outraged. Sis is an educated person and now she wants to kill a child just because she suspects its going to be a girl. I know these things happen but i never thought it happens with well educated people, never thought sis would do that.

I realized this dream was something related to it. For the next few months I would make her regular calls, trying my level best to persuade her, I told her everything possible except this dream. When I myself was unable to decode it fully what can i tell her?

Finally when the D-day came, there it is, one of the most beautiful child, a boy, just like sis want. If she went for abortion she would have repented it and may be this is what my dream is trying to tell me.

Everyone was happy. Everything is perfect people thought. But it is not!

Though she is a cousin to me, she is one of the favorites, its like I literally grew up with her. This mistake, I never forgot! I was never again her dear brother, never again was I able to be truly like I used to be. Its lost and she did it.

I must admit, "I forgive but never forget, especially blunders like these"

People, please don't kill a girl child. She has a right to live. It hurts bad to know that educated people are doing this these days.

If you know the kind of suffering a child goes through just by a mere thought of abortion from a mother
If you know how far this effect goes
if know how the psychology and physiology of both the mother and child gets effected
If you truly see and if you truly know

YOU WOULD NEVER DO THIS AND NEVER SUPPORT THIS!

Save the girl child, Please!!



PS: Abortion should never be considered unless there is a danger to mother's life. Once a child is killed the effect goes so far than a person can see, so far than single life time! I hope I can explain more clearly.

Think about it, If you get the true answer, what I am saying becomes more clear to you. Remember killing a child through abortion is a crime and the effect follows you beyond the visible horizons.
