I think a true friend is one with whom you can be silent with, with whom you can be yourself 100% (not even 99.99%).
I always struggled to fit in. This is true :)
I have many friends and I am a friend of many more, but
I never found a friend with whom I can be myself 100%.
I met this person one and half year back accidentally and everything seems to have changed from then :) I loved him in the first meeting and he came to me over a gathering and praised me for something which I was always scolded for .He looks like an alter ego to me, but elder. He committed all the mistakes which I think I too would have done. Yeah, we both are moving in same direction. He is my master, my guide and more importantly one true friend. .I never told him this. When we both know this, I think recognition is a deviation.
Today I talked to him for 1 hr over phone and I am very much relieved, I feel very light now. I am very down since three days and did all kind of things to deviate myself (especially on weekend).
A great thing about him, whenever I talk to him I realize how less I know and how ignorant I am.
and his constant warning to me is "Don't go too fast!"...:)
Anyways He is the only one with whom I can be stupid, Intelligent, foolish, funny, serious, with whom I can be silent totally, with whom I can be myself!
I have a true friend!

Proud to be different!!
Note: This post is dedicated to all the people who ask why I am question box..:P. and to all people who ask, why I am different, to all people who ask me why don't I just relax and live till I die like everyone else. I am creating my own story here and I must agree sometimes grammar feels like a restriction to me.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where are we going? asked he
That's stupid question,we just keep on moving till we die, replied the Captain goat.
Why are we moving, in the first place? asked he again
Because this is what our fathers and their fathers did! replied the captain goat controlling his anger.
Why can't we change our direction? asked he
Will you just stop being a question box? snapped captain.
No one seems to be bothered to answer my questions, murmured he within himself.
He understood that he has to find his own answers.
Determined he changed the direction of his movement,
now he is moving against everyone.
You are insulting our elders and our belief systems, shouted angry elders
Why don't you just relax and enjoy your life? teased his friends
We are not allowed even to talk to you, said the youngsters.
But he never stopped.
He started questioning anyone he encountered on his way.
This time he don't want answers,
he wanted to make them think.
For long he is alone.
For long he is a misfit.
Years passed, He grew old, but
He never stopped questioning, never stopped trying.
Few joined him.
Slowly slowly
The herd of goats started moving in a new direction.
This time...
it's not a belief system that guides them..
they are not doing something because everyone did it before.
This time...
they are guided by pure purpose.
Everyone became joyful.
He, the first goat knew within himself
that his job is done.
Never he asked any question in his life after that..
Never he even talked after that......
He died and remembered by everyone as a Legend.
years passed.....generations passed....
A young goat was different.
Where are we going? asked he.
That's stupid question,we just keep on moving till we die, replied the Captain goat.

P.S : This story is dedicated to all people who challenged the existing beliefs, who had courage to take the road less traveled and whose existence has always been a celebration to the planet earth.
In one line, this story is dedicated to all the people over there who are "DIFFERENT" in any way.

Some stupid thing I did, some great lesson I learnt.
Here is a small story
A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared; he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther.
Then the man decided to help the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.
The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were nature's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If nature allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been.
And we could never fly...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I did something very similar in my childhood (When I am around 12 yrs old). In my case the caterpillar/semi-butterfly died immediately. I never understood what went wrong. I thought I was trying to help.
I took me many years to understand that "Compassion doesn't always mean to reduce the struggle of others, it also means to step back and let others struggle and learn the lesson themselves."

Girlz n deir Expressionzz
Yeah, this is not my area of expertise. But there is a reason I am writing this post.
All the girls in my life, from cousins to friends and colleagues. Every single one told me "Gopi you never ever understand girls"
I never understood what they meant initially and even now I am helpless.
Anyways I feel it's a blessing in disguise. But you should have both; Inability to understand girls and girls knowing that you don't understand them :)
Because you wont waste time trying to understand them and they wont give you much complexity knowing your inability. (This is coming from a lot personal experience :) )
But I should agree. I really wanna understand them. I really want to read between the lines. My inability combined with lack of patience is not making me achieve this.
Why do they use indirect pointers, symbolic language and alien expressions.
what does a girl mean...
"When she gives you a full smile or half smile or a serious look?"
"When she looks at you through corner of her eye?"
"When she scolds you, praises you or says "you look funny"(this part happens to me more often;))"
May be these indirect pointers are the one's that make everything interesting with girls. May be this is the real spicy element of all relationships. (not even 1% experience here).
But why am I writing about all this?
There is something bugging me these days.
There is this girl at office whom I am really scared of (of course I am scared of all girls :P). She sat in front of me in one of my office meetings. And suddenly, unreasonably and in a situation which doesn't demand it, she she gave an expression to me, (I dont know how to describe it and even if I describe it I wont be 10% near to it). It is something mysterious though. While I was puzzled (Shocked in fact), she gave me another similar one. This is going somewhere, I thought. Is she scolding me?? Is she asking me to shut up?? (Actually I am talking too much at that time, actually chating with people sitting on both sides of me). I wanted to know what she meant.
Bad thing, it didn't stop there yet, she gave a similar expression to me the third time!! Now I got another doubt, Is she giving those expressions to me??or to someone else? am I making it all up??
Yeah, you can understand how confused I am.
You may ask me why I haven't clarified it, then itself. I have my reasons
1. I am scared of her ;)
2. I am scared that she would act as if she knew nothing.
3. I am scared she would think I am totally unable to understand simple expressions.
4. I am scared I am making this all up :P
People, I too get scared sometimes and this is the proof :D
So this thing bugged me few days after that, I thought about it and forgot . But it's coming into mind whenever I see her.
Forgot to say, there are eye-witnesses who said it's a mysterious expression (yippeee!! I have support).
Whatever after many days I clearly understood the necessity to develop ability of decoding Girlzz and their expressionzz.
Guys out there if you don't have this ability, your life will be like mine :)
A small expression triggers a Tsunami.
BE AWARE!!

Irritation and lack of humbleness
He is very arrogant and irritating.
Irritation, arises out of impatience.
I snapped him, cursed him.
Declared that he is good for nothing!
I am correct, he deserves it!
But I forgot that "He is a master in making".
There is my lesson, there ended my irritation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What a man he is, a perfect vibrant Individual.
Has a huge white beard and wore white robes.
His smile is pure.
He came straight unto me and told me "I see something disturbing above your head. son, you are lacking humbleness"
He gave a strange look.
I wanted to be with him, get as much closer as possible.
But something is preventing me.
I realized it's time to choose.
one side 'The Crown of over proudness'
The other side 'The jewel of his friendship'
I have made my decision.
i put my crown at his feet.
With tears in his eyes he gave me a hug and I became one with him.
